Lynwood Avocado Nursery is more than just a nursery supplying trees – the team have the expertise and experience to help you through their avocado journey, from selecting the right site, to advice on how to plant and look after young trees.

They are a supplier of seedling and clonal rootstock avocado trees for the retail sector as well as for commercial growers.

“We also help growers with their orchard development process, helping them to select the right site, the right rootstock and the right varieties for their property,” says Lynwood Avocado Nursery’s customer and technical support Sarah Williamson.

“We are more than just a nursery that supplies trees – we are growers ourselves and have years of experience in growing avocados and developing orchard which we share with our customers.

“We give guidance on planting and aftercare of young trees and we’re always looking to the future.”

Sarah says Lynwood Avocado Nursery has different trials running both in the nursery and in their production blocks to help growers.

“One of the trials we have in our orchard blocks at the moment is regenerative plantings where we are trying to enhance soil heath and minimise herbicide use. We showcase our trials through an annual field day at Lynwood around November each year.”
