Loyalty and trust vital in industry

It could be two to three years before USA and South American beef producers recover from recent droughts, which is good news for New Zealand farmers.

Federated Farmers Meat & Fibre Industry Group chairperson Rick Powdrell says while farmers don’t wish their international competitor’s ill, the fact is it will take some time for cattle numbers to recover, leaving markets open for NZ meat.
