Growing, harvesting, milling, selling and the end uses for alternative timber species will be the topics under discussion during the Bay of Plenty Action Group weekend in November.
That evening there will be a dinner and on Sunday, November 9, there will be a visit to Summerhill Farm which has extensive stands of timber.
